US Tour with Nataly Dawn
Hey! Starting in March, I’ll be hitting the road with my friend and incredibly talented fellow musician, Nataly Dawn. We’ll be starting at SXSW in Austin and then driving all over the country. I’ll be opening, Nataly will headline and play songs from her new album (which is spectacular), and we’ll also be playing some songs together as well. Are you as excited as I am!?!? Maybe not quite? I guess that makes sense, but I hope you’re still kind of excited. For dates and details and tickets and such, check out the tour page of my website.

Live Web Concert February 20th
Hey! I’m playing a live web concert on StageIt on February 20th. I have some brand new songs that I want you to hear, and I’ll of course play some older stuff, take your requests, answer questions, and maybe play a cover or two.

I Need Your Votes!
Hey friends, I’m a finalist for SF Bay Emerging Artist of 2012 in the Deli Magazine! So, that’s pretty neat. The winner is decided in a poll, so if I was in fact your favorite emerging artist from SF last year, I’d really appreciate a vote at sf.thedelimagazine.com!
In return, if you should ever run for president, I’ve totally got your back. Meaning, I can promise you at least one vote in the state of California. I mean, only if I agree with your stances on key issues. You’ll also have to remind me about this online poll that you voted in. Nevermind. This is a bad promise. You don’t want to be president anyway.

Tumblr / Instagram / Tour Photos
So, I’ve been busy.
For starters, I redid my website, which is now Tumblr-based, so you can follow my blog. You know, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Furthermore, being a technological pioneer who is always at the forefront of everything that became cool two years ago, I’ve started actively using Instagram (@laurenoconnellmusic). I uploaded a bunch of photos from my west coast tour in November/December. Did you know that the west coast is beautiful? Check those out and maybe subscribe to my future photographs on your telephone.
Finally, re-entering the realm of things that I actually know how to do, I’ve been writing a lot and have a bunch of new songs. As of right now, I can’t tell you when you’ll hear them or how. I just wanted to let you know that they exist, more are in the works, and I can’t wait to get them to your ears.
